Lecture Performance | On Drifting and Rooting

Aziz Sohail, Fazal Rizvi

Aziz Sohail and Fazal Rizvi will present a lecture performance meditating on and between multiple points of confluence, convergence and congregation in and from Karachi, where they first met in 2013 and through which they have been in a shared sociability with since. Their performance then drifts to new nodes, geographies and unfoldings – ideas still forming and rising, and making and unmaking. Together they will reflect on what it means to find and make place and community: to think, work and share with and its impact on individual and collective artistic practice.
