Gen-Z Power
Gen-Z Power is a collaborative photobook created by 28 young photographers and published by Nepal Point, documenting the powerful protest that took place on September 8th, 2025. The book captures the energy, urgency, and unity of a generation demanding accountability and change. Through street moments, portraits, and collective scenes of resistance, the publication becomes both an artistic record and a testament to Gen-Z’s voice in Nepal’s contemporary political landscape. Its launch marks not just the release of a book, but the sharing of a movement shaped by youth, creativity, and civic courage.
As part of the launch, a travelling pop-up exhibition is organized by Nepal Point in collaboration with PhotoKTM6, featuring The Ballot Box installation. This transparent box invites visitors to write and drop questions based on three themes- Question Yourself, Question the Public, Question the Government. The installation encourages reflection, dialogue, and awareness ahead of the upcoming elections, reminding viewers that questioning is a vital democratic act. Together, the photobook and the ballot box create a space where art, activism, and public participation meet, urging the audience to think critically about their role in shaping the country’s future.
