You can get a tourist visa on arrival. To avoid queuing at the immigration desk at the airport, you can get a visa online.

For further information check Nepal’s Immigration website. Indian visitors don’t need a visa to enter Nepal, but need to travel with passports. South Asian visitors (except from Afghanistan) are eligible for a gratis/free visa on their first visit to Nepal of the year.
