Rejin Purja

Rejin Purja is a photographer born in Bhairahawa and raised in Kathmandu. His photographic practice is driven by a desire to find answers to his own curiosity. For him, the true joy of being a photographer lies in the connections he fosters with people from all walks of life. His works explore themes such as casteism, faith, religion, politics, the relationship between humans and the natural world, and his own identity. 

Rejin is a graduate of Visual Thinking and Making, a visual storytelling workshop organized by Photo Circle in 2022-23. He was a participant in the International Storytelling Workshop in 2024 and is an alumnus of the 2025 Angkor Photo Festival.

Rejin’s works have been published in the photo books All this Weight (2023) andIt’s in Our Nature (2024).
