KTK-BELT studio is a New York based non-profit working in collaboration with local Learning Grounds across six nodes of the Eastern Region of Nepal. Embracing the vertical gradient of this cross-section, the biodiverse-rich landscapes and the diverse traditional ecological knowledge tied to this landscape, they collectively co-founded the "Vertical University" project. One of the core aims of the project is to enable local youth, students, and children born and brought up in these landscapes, to understand, learn, and steward their own biodiversity heritage.
