This 4-day Lab is a learning exercise hosted by PhotoKTM and designed to give participants a unique hands-on experience of being involved in the making of a fashion campaign. The Lab also seeks to open up conversations on how fashion and photography is shaping Nepali as well as global visual culture.

The Lab brings together 2 incredibly talented and highly experienced creative professionals: Bombay-based art director and fashion stylist Nikhil D and Delhi-based photographer Adil Hasan to develop this unique learning experience for young photographers, stylists, designers, art directors, producers, models and other creatives.

The Lab will work with the designs of New York-based Nepali fashion designer Prabal Gurung.

From witnessing the ideation process, mood-boarding, and pre-production conversations of this ace team, to engaging in discussions with them on the importance of casting and representation, to working on lighting and set design, managing production teams, and finishing with discussions on post-production and final presentation, participants will observe, assist and work closely with Nikhil and Adil to develop a visual campaign from start to finish.

Venue: Hotel Sunset View, Baneshwor
