Abhijit Shuvo is a Bangladeshi photographer whose practice extends into film and curation. His work explores themes of memory, identity, and place—capturing fleeting, often overlooked moments rooted in the socio-cultural landscapes of South Asia. Light plays a central role in his visual language, serving as both an emotional and narrative tool.
A graduate of Pathshala South Asian Media Institute, he has also studied film and explored the intersection of still and moving images. His work has been exhibited nationally and internationally, and he has collaborated with organisations such as Shrine Empire (Delhi), Dhaka Crawler, UNICEF Bangladesh, and The World Bank.
As a curator, he has led exhibitions including Poster e July Abbhutthan at Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy, Koilja Kapano 36 Din for Dhrisshomaadhyom Shomaj at the Bangladesh National Museum, F11-See Sharp Season II for the Independent Photography Club (IUB) at Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy, and Open Studio 2025 by Pathshala at Drik Gallery. His interdisciplinary practice continues to evolve through projects that bridge image, space, and narrative.
